About Fireglass
Fireglass is used in gas fireplaces and fire pits as an alternative to gas logs, ceramic stones or Lava Rocks.
The glass does not actually burn, so you need to have a gas source to create the flame. Fireglass can only be used in gas fire pits or wood-burning-rated vented gas fireplaces. Propane burners do not burn as clean as natural gas and can cause discoloration and sooting, so it is recommended to use darker colors with LP propane. Not all propane burners can be used with fireglass, so please check with the manufacturer of your device before purchasing.  You should seek professional help with installation, especially if using propane gas as it can be dangerous if not properly installed.

To calculate how much glass you need: Short Version- About 7 1/2 lbs per sq ft of fire pit surface area at 1″ deep.  For rectangular or square fireplace/fire pit: 1) Measure the width across the center of the firebox (in inches). 2) Multiply the result times the depth (inches) from the front to the back. 3) Divide the result by 20.5 4) Multiply the result by the number of inches high you would like the glass (which should be at least enough to cover the top of your burner.) 5) The result is the number of pounds needed (approximately). For round fire pits: 1) Divide the diameter – from side to side-(in inches) by 2. 2) Square the result. 3) Multiply the result by 0.15. 4) Multiply the result by the number of inches deep. 5) The result is the number of pounds needed (approximately).
Glass sizes are approximate. Some pieces can be quite smaller and some can be quite larger, this is typical of all kinds of fireglass. The shade/hue of the glass can change dramatically in different sources of light as well as in different colors of surrounding areas, and backgrounds . The photos of our fireglass are from the materials that will actually be shipped to you. They are not stock photos from the factory.
Firepits as shown are 29″ round with 50 lbs. clear reflective, 20 lbs. large fireglass rocks, and 10 lbs. jumbo fireglass boulders at the apex.  All quantities are estimates and are subject to the exact shape and size of your particular firepit.

How can I save money on my Fireglass purchase?
In general the following rules apply: -non-reflective fireglass is less expensive than reflective fire glass. – the smaller the size the less expensive the fire glass.   Clear or White fireglass is less expensive than colored fireglass. Often you can purchase clear fireglass for the bed or base of the fire pit and then the colored fireglass for the top layers.
Shipping and Tracking
We will provide tracking numbers on all orders unless for some reason a tracking number is not available to us. Our normal shipment provider is USPS however Fedex Ground is also used for larger quantities. Some items may be shipped in multiple packages (in which case you will have more than one tracking number in your Order Details). USPS does not always make it as promised within the 2-3 days, and does not update its tracking information properly. Multiple packages do not always arrive on the same day.
Restocking Information
A 20% restocking fee will be applied to all returns processed for a refund. Shipping charges are non-refundable.
